This model is made by Jakub Chromicz THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!
The feature of this machine is that it has a good balance between cost and performance.Since I tried to use standard parts in design as much as possible, such as aluminum profiles,PVC base, etc,so the cost is largely reduced. The aluminum profiles, ball screw drives, rails, can be customized by vendors.Other stuffs are just standard parts. So basically, all the work left is drilling some holes in the aluminum plate,of course, precisely.:)
The machine also has a good performance. It can etch the PCB at 2000mm/min while maintaining the accuracy within 0.05mm.It can handle most of the non-metal materials and soft aluminum, like ABS,POM,glass fiber,Acrylic, etc.
It cost me about $300 at the time, including all the electronics modules, like power supply, motor drivers, etc.
*Note. The video is not for this machine, but its successor, which is way more powerful and harder to make.
