NovaBOT
The Robot-Concept is very simple. Every Joint is moveable in two directions. This is an easy way to provide a XY axis movement.
Two Main parts are allways fixed to the middle part. On the middle part are four rotation points, which are the fix points for the Movement. In this way it’s easy to turn the head part into all Directions.
JOINT – CENTERPART
The two axes do not cross eachother. It’s different from the example in the Concept. The Chassis for the Servo Motors is 3D-Printed. It consists of two similar Parts which are screwed together.
The Maximal Dimensions of the Centerpart are: 120mm x 60mm x 60mm
All of the Servo Motors are the same type. They are powered and controlled by 3 Cables.
ROBOT ARMS
The complete Robotic Arm consists of:
5 Shell Parts (3D-Printed)
1 O-Ring
7 Servo Motors
88 Screws
14 Servo Box Parts (3D-Printed).
The Robot will be screwet in to the Ground.
This will make the meassures reproductible.
The Device Platform can be replaced. You will find a docking fixture, wich allows you to use differnet Device Platforms.
